Make a Birthday Wish
Hi crafty friends it's Janet designing for Craftin Desert Diva's. Today I'm making a sparkly genie birthday card. I start with the new stamp set called Your Wish. I cut out the matching SVG file and stamp this genie using Momento Tuxedo black ink. I color her with Copics in BG15 and B04 for her outfit, E00 and E21 for her skin, R22 for her gems and Y00, Y11, Y13, and Y18 for her hair. I then cut a small piece of Be Creative double sided tape and place her face down on one side of the tape. With non stick scissors I cut around the image. Once this is complete I remove the backing and put some Micro fine glitter all over my image. I rub this down with my finger so it all sticks to the adhesive and then quickly hit it with a heat gun to set.
I cut three Scribbled Circles in turquoise and ran them through my Xyron machine to add adhesive to the back. I placed those diagonally on the card. I then stamped my sentiment in Versafine Black ink from a set called Wishful Thoughts. I added a small strip of turquoise on the side and a stripe of silver glitter paper. I finished this card with some dots using a Gelly Roll pen in black and silver. Thanks for visiting!
